At a Glance
A certificate of reproducibility (CertPro) is a detailed, step-by-step record of scientific research that includes data, scientific algorithms, computational environment, tools stack, and results, generated in real time to foster reproducibility of results. This document focuses on creating, modifying, and navigating a CertPro. For a conceptual explanation, see .
To create or work with your CertPro, navigate to HISE. Then folllow the instructions in the applicable section below.
Instructions
Create a certificate

Add a description

2. On the Certificate of Reproducibility page, click Edit.
3. To the right of the Description box, click the pencil icon.
4. In the Edit Certificate Description box, enter a brief description of the work represented by the data trace.
5. Click Submit.
View a certificate
1. In the Collaboration Space, click Data Apps.
2. Click the tile of the Data App you want to view.
2. In the Data App Details navigation menu, click Certificate of Reproducibiiity.
Zoom in, zoom out, or fit on screen
1. Navigate to your certificate, and make sure it's editable. For details, see
2. In the lower-left corner of your screen, find the zoom in (+), zoom out (-), fit view, and toggle interactivity icons. If necessary, click and hold the hand tool to move to your certificate up and to the right until the icons become visible.
4. To zoom in on a particular vertex, click the zoom in (+) icon repeatedly until the vertex you want to see is large enough. Alternatively, click Cmd + plus (+) to enlarge the content on your screen. Click and hold the hand tool to adjust your view as necessary.
5. To zoom out, click the zoom out (-) icon repeatedly until the portion of the certificate you want to view is visible. Alternatively, click Cmd + minus (-) to reduce the size of your screen content. Click and hold the hand tool to adjust your view as necessary.
6. To recenter your view and fit the entire certificate on the screen, click the fit view icon, which resembles an open square.
Toggle interactivity
1. Navigate to the certificate you want to edit.
2. In the lower-left corner of your screen, find the toggle interactivity icon. If necessary, click and hold the hand tool to move to your certificate up and to the right until the icon becomes visible.
3. To make the certificate editable, set the toggle interactivity icon to interactive (an open padlock icon). If you see a locked padlock icon, click once to open it.
4. To return to view mode (a locked padlock icon), click the toggle interactivity icon again.
Add or delete an asset
To add an asset to your certificate, navigate to the section of the publication editor that houses the asset you want to add. Then follow the applicable instructions below.
Notebooks
1. Navigate to Publications > Update Publications >Notebooks.
2. On the Update Notebook and associated items page, find the Selected from Saved IDEs field.
3. To add a notebook, click the arrow at right, and choose an item from the drop-down list.
4. Alternatively, you can add a notebook from GitHub:
1. Find GitHub Links, and paste an IDE link into the text field.
2. Click Save.
